Accounts Office Manager, East Hull

Description

Our client is a successful, long established family business in East Hull who are looking for someone to take on the accounting responsibilities within the company.  With assistance from two junior members of staff, there will be a varied workload to complete within tight timescales and with the expectation that additional duties will be carried out to support the organisation as a whole.

Key responsibilities:

  • Overseeing the purchase and sales ledger
  • Processing timesheets from staff and sending information through to the payroll bureau service
  • Creating debtor reports for senior management
  • Handling all bank transactions
  • Processing expenses
  • Taking accounts up to trial balance
  • Supporting senior management with some office and administration responsibilities
  • Answering the phone when required

The candidate:

You will be an experienced Bookkeeper who can confidently take accounts up to trial balance.  Knowledge of Sage Line 50 essential.  A willingness to support a small head office function with other associated office duties required of which the rewards will be to be part of a friendly and welcoming environment.

On offer:

A full time permanent position although consideration will be given to part time hours of around 30 hours per week.  Office based at their site in East Hull.  Benefits package includes 20 days holiday plus bank holidays and auto enrolment pension scheme. Free parking on site.
