Compliance Co-ordinator, Hull

Description

We are looking for a detail focused Compliance Co-Ordinator to join a growing specialist business operating within the international accounting world.  This is a varied role combining compliance, risk management, financial administration and client due diligence, with responsibility for ensuring information and transactions are accurately checked, recorded and processed in line with regulatory and business requirements.

 

It's an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career within compliance, with full training provided and genuine opportunities to progress into a Team Leader position in the future.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out client due diligence checks, including verifying identification and supporting documentation
  • Review and validate client and transaction information, identifying any discrepancies or potential risks
  • Accurately allocate and reconcile payments against the relevant clients and transactions
  • Maintain accurate compliance and risk management records and systems
  • Prepare checklists and supporting documentation to ensure all required checks have been completed
  • Monitor information and transactions to ensure they meet internal and regulatory requirements
  • Support the preparation and completion of tax-related returns as your knowledge develops
  • Work closely with colleagues to resolve queries and ensure information is accurate and up to date

 

The candidate

  • We are looking for someone who is:
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Comfortable working with financial information, figures and data
  • Confident checking information and identifying discrepancies or inconsistencies
  • Methodical, thorough and able to follow established processes
  • A good communicator who is comfortable working with confidential information
  • Ideally experienced within accounts, taxation, compliance, financial administration or a similar environment
  • Keen to develop a long-term career within compliance and risk management
