Administrator (Temp to perm), East Hull

Description

Kingston Recruitment are currently recruiting for an Administrator to join our client’s team based near Hedon, Hull. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong administration skills who is looking to develop their career within a technical environment.
Working closely with the operational team, this varied role will involve supporting compliance, documentation, scheduling, procurement, and general administration. Full training will be provided on company systems and industry-specific processes.

Please note: Due to the location of the site, candidates will require their own transport.



Key Responsibilities:

Compliance & Documentation

Processing, maintaining, and filing Electrical Installation Test Certificates and project documentation.
Updating records and ensuring information is accurate and kept up to date.
Maintaining compliance records and supporting internal processes.
Monitoring documentation relating to equipment, training, insurance, and quality requirements.
Assisting with reports, audits, and general administration.



Scheduling & Coordination

Supporting the Team Leader with allocating planned and reactive maintenance tasks.
Updating schedules and liaising with internal teams, contractors, and suppliers.
Assisting with coordinating site works and ensuring relevant paperwork is completed.
Requesting and managing documentation from subcontractors.



Procurement & Materials

Assisting with ordering materials and parts from suppliers.
Obtaining quotations and supporting the purchasing process.
Monitoring deliveries, checking paperwork, and highlighting any delays.
Processing delivery notes and supporting the Accounts team.

 

Training & Staff Administration

Maintaining training and qualification records.
Assisting with arranging training courses and updating employee documentation.
Supporting new starter administration, including probation reviews and meeting notes.

 

Skills & Experience Required:

Previous administration experience is beneficial, but full training will be provided.
Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload.
Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Good communication skills with the ability to liaise with different teams.
A willingness to learn and develop within a technical environment.
