We are recruiting for a proactive and driven Business Development Executive to join a growing and dynamic business development team. This role is focused on identifying new business opportunities, generating leads, and supporting the company’s ongoing growth strategy through targeted business development activity.  Working closely with the Marketing team, you will play a key role in promoting company services, nurturing prospective clients, and maintaining strong customer engagement through proactive communication and relationship building. This opportunity would suit a motivated individual with previous business development or telesales experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively contact prospective clients through telephone and email campaigns
  • Promote company products and services across agreed target sectors
  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities
  • Build rapport and establish strong relationships with prospective clients
  • Process and manage leads through the CRM system
  • Ensure accurate and timely updates on customer interactions and follow-ups
  • Conduct market research to identify opportunities, sectors and industry trends
  • Monitor competitor activity to support business development strategies
  • Analyse information to support targeted growth plans
  • Work closely with the Marketing department to nurture leads generated through campaigns
  • Collaborate with the wider sales team on new business opportunities
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for continued business growth
  • Maintain a professional approach in all written and verbal communications

 

The Candidate

Previous experience within a business development, telesales, or lead generation environment

Strong telephone communication and relationship-building skills

Proven ability to generate and qualify leads

Full driving licence and own transport
