Contracts Manager, Hull

Description

Due to continued growth our client is looking to recruit a Contracts Manager for a newly created role within the business.  Reporting to the Company Director it will be expected of the Contracts Manager to undertake the following duties:

 

  • Be responsible for overseeing multiple contracts throughout the UK.
  • Attend prestart meetings with customers and vendors.
  • Arrange equipment, material, plant hire and personnel to sites.
  • Manage budgets, ensuring contracts are completed within restricted timescales.
  • Prepare H&S documentation to include Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
  • Liaise with vendors and customers throughout the contract.

 

The successful candidate will have experience of managing contracts/projects and knowledge of the steel industry would be advantageous.  This is a stand-alone role so self-motivation is essential along with excellent communication skills.  The role is office based but occasionally may involve travelling to sites across the UK.

 

This is a full time, permanent role and the salary is negotiable depending on experience.
