HR Co-ordinator, East Yorkshire


Due to an increase in business levels, our client is looking for an additional member of staff to work within HR from their Head Office in East Yorkshire.  As one of their geographic area's biggest employers you will have a hands-on approach to an HR function although be capable and experienced enough to take on project work in order to further develop the systems and processes within the business.

Key responsibilities:

  • Day-to-day recruitment duties including sending out offer letters, arranging interviews, placing adverts and sifting through CV's
  • Implementing a disciplinary and grievance process that can be rolled out to all management
  • Conducting disciplinary and grievance interviews and processing the necessary outcomes
  • Developing the new time and attendance system to best effect on the shop floor
  • Creating new policies within HR to enhance the current procedures
  • Updating and amending the employee handbook
  • Working alongside management to introduce a new training and development academy within the organisation
  • Co-ordinating their charity activities

The candidate:

You will have gained a sound understanding of HR through previous work experience ideally coupled with CIPD Level part/full qualification. Experience in conducting disciplinaries and grievances of distinct benefit. The ability to implement new ways of working within HR with a strategic view and evidence of previous examples within the workplace.
