With an exciting period of modernisation and growth ahead, our client is seeking a proactive Transport Planner to play a key role within their supply chain operations. This is a hands-on role where you’ll work closely with the warehouse, customer service, and logistics teams to ensure the smooth, efficient, and compliant movement of goods to sites across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the internal fleet, coordinating vehicle movements nationwide
• Liaise with drivers and plan cost-effective, efficient routes
• Monitor and record driver hours accurately, ensuring compliance with legislation
• Oversee vehicle maintenance, repairs, servicing, and safety checks
• Maintain up-to-date records for driver hours, training, compliance, tax, and insurance
• Carry out minor repairs and inspections where required
• Manage relationships with approved service and repair providers, ensuring SLAs are met
• Ensure all operations meet DVSA regulatory requirements
• Produce accurate weekly transport and compliance reports

The Candidate:

Proven logistics and transport planning experience across UK routes

CPC qualification preferred (or equivalent knowledge)

Strong organisational and communication skills

Flexible, hands-on approach with the ability to adapt to an FMCG environment

On Offer:

Full-time, permanent, site-based role (Monday to Friday) with occasional out-of-hours requirements
