Our client is looking to appoint a key member of the senior management team within their manufacturing facility in Hull and is seeking an experienced and highly competent HSE Manager.  With experience within the food sector being an essential requirement due to the BRC audits conducted, the successful candidate will take on responsibility for the health, safety, environment and sustainability of the site.

Key responsibilities:

• Developing and maintaining processes and practices in line with ISO45001 and ISO14001 principles
• Working with management across the site to identify, prioritise and mitigate risk
• Conducting root cause analysis following accidents and near misses
• Collaborate with internal departments and external suppliers to achieve environmental targets including carbon foot printing, carbon and energy reduction
• Maintain and update all associated documentation

The candidate:

NEBOSH certification, knowledge of ISO45001, ISO14001and  ISO9001 all gained within a food related industry required.  Strong project management and systems management skills. Experience of BRC audits.

A full time permanent position site based. Excellent salary and benefits package. Working Monday to Friday and no shifts.
