Description

On behalf of our client due to continued growth within their Facilities Management division, Kingston Recruitment are currently looking to source an experienced and reliable Electrician is required to join a busy and expanding team. This is a varied field-based role supporting a range of commercial and domestic clients across the region.

The successful candidate will be provided with their own company van and fuel card for work purposes.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance work
• Diagnose and repair electrical faults within commercial and domestic properties
• Complete installations, rewiring, testing, and upgrades in line with current regulations
• Conduct routine maintenance, inspections, and fault finding
• Fire alarm and emergency lighting testing
• Complete EICR and EIC certification
• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and complies with Health & Safety regulations
• Order and assess parts required for repairs and maintenance
• Provide professional advice and excellent customer service to clients
• Work independently or as part of a wider maintenance team

Requirements

• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations – essential
• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent
• Previous experience within commercial and/or facilities maintenance environments
• Full UK driving licence
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Familiarity with NICEIC standards desirable

Overtime paid at x1.5
Night work paid at x1.33
Sunday work paid at x2.0
Occasional weekend and night work required
