Description

Due to expansion we are looking to recruit a Trainee Estimator for a local company as an additional member of staff to the business.  Working closely with senior management, you will have the opportunity to develop your career and skills within estimating and become an integral part of the organisation as you progress.

Key responsibilities:

• Training and developing your skills with the assisting and preparing of tender documents
• Handling incoming enquiries from new and existing clients
• Sourcing materials from suppliers
• Providing detailed and cost effective quotations to customers
• Developing your project management experience to include site visits

The candidate:

You will already have a background knowledge of joinery/timber or associated products in order to utilise some existing experience further.  You will have strong IT skills, problem solving and the desire to progress your career down the operational route of a business.

On offer:

Training and progression given to the successful candidate who will be developed within the estimating department of the company. A full time permanent position working Monday to Friday in West Hull.
