Description

Our client is looking to continue the modernisation of their warehouse and stock control function by recruiting an experienced individual who can develop the systems and processes already in place.  Working alongside senior management, you will be responsible for a team of staff who deal with goods inwards, feeding the lines and maintaining accurate and efficient stock levels.

Key responsibilities:

• Maintain and record the goods inwards and stock control of products required for production
• Ensuring materials are stored in a safe and efficient manner
• Assess current storage methods to minimise excess movement and handling
• Review recycling and waste processes
• Develop and maintain the current stock control records and enhance the current MRP system
• Managing the warehouse team and train, develop and recruit staff when required.
• Project work as and when required

The candidate:

You will have previous management experience within a warehousing, stores and stock control environment and ideally understand manufacturing principles and processes. Knowledge of computerised stock systems essential. 

On offer:

A full time permanent position working 8am to 430pm Monday to Friday.  Generous salary dependent upon relevant experience and the opportunity to work alongside senior management to develop and progress the current systems.
