Due to internal promotion, our client is looking for an experienced Sales Manager to head up the internal and external sales teams for a successful manufacturing company in East Yorkshire. Working alongside senior management you will play a pivotal role in developing new business prospects for the organisation.
As such on a daily basis, your key responsibilities will include:
Managing the sales office to ensure customer objectives are achieved and potential outcomes secured.
Overseeing the inbound leads received and distributing the work to the external sales team
Developing processes and procedures to deliver successful sales campaigns both in the UK and Europe
Motivating both teams to achieve objectives and targets
Developing product knowledge to offer potential solutions to companies
Securing business and winning contracts with some UK and overseas travel
The ideal candidate will have worked within a manufacturing environment previously in order to understand the product development and production processes. You will have experience of managing multiple teams and be able to demonstrate your sales background. This role is more operational than proactive and requires the ability to manage the full sales cycle process in order to develop and progress this business further.
