Payroll Assistant (Part Time), Hull

Description

Our client is looking to recruit an experienced Payroll Assistant who will have sole responsibility of the payroll function for a group of companies.  In an office based role at their Head Office on the outskirts of North Hull and working as part of a sociable and friendly team, you will report to both the HR Manager and Financial Director.

Key responsibilities:

  • Processing the weekly and monthly payroll for two divisions of the business
  • Collating timesheets and calculating hours
  • Dealing with queries from employees
  • Handling all associated payroll tasks including SSP, SMP, SPP
  • Updating reports on Excel
  • Utilising Sage Payroll

The candidate:

A comprehensive knowledge of payroll is essential, including tax year-end.

A working knowledge of Sage Payroll is also essential.

The willingness to work some additional hours if required

On offer:

A part time office based position working Monday and Tuesday each week with some requirement to work an additional half day approximately oncer per month.
