Customer Supply Manager, West Hull

Description

Our client is entering an exciting period of growth with external investment creating a new era for the organisation.  Working alongside senior management, this is an opportunity for an experienced Manager to join the company and help create new processes and systems to enhance and develop the sales administration function. 

Key responsibilities:

  • Day-to-day management of the sales team
  • Managing the customer order process and working to defined timescales
  • Overseeing the supplier relationships to ensure profit margins are maximised
  • Dealing with any escalation of customer issues and resolving problems
  • Developing strong customer relationships
  • Training and developing staff within the team
  • Reviewing the current working practices and making improvements where necessary

The candidate:

The position requires someone with strong management skills gained within a customer services or sales environment.  The ideal candidate will have worked with customers and suppliers to build successful partnerships. A knowledge of wholesale/supplies operations would be of distinct advantage.  Strong IT skills essential in order to help develop new systems.

On offer:

A full time permanent position office based in West Hull working 730am to 430pm Monday to Friday. Additional hours will be required during busy periods. Generous salary and improved employee benefits are being reviewed during this transitional period.
